Travel has been one of the most transformative aspects of my life, especially during my time studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. Immersing myself in a new culture taught me more than just a language—it expanded my worldview. Living with a host family who encouraged me to speak only Spanish helped me embrace the beauty of stepping out of my comfort zone and fully engage with the local way of life.
